CASE STUDY: THE CROWN SEASON 3

The Crown Season 3 home entertainment release (2019)

For the home entertainment release of The Crown Season 3, we took our focus from some of the major events that took place in the show and the timing of the release (just before Christmas) and used this to raise awareness in various ways.

 

Firstly, we distributed a prestige media mailer in partnership with a number of partners: Local tea company, Bird & Blend, to create an exclusive Silver Jubilee-inspired brew, Biscuiteers to create some exclusive Crown biscuits, and private chef Louisa Ellis to create some recipe cards for a Royal Night In. Louisa (Masterchef Professionals Christmas 2020 winner) also conducted a virtual dinner party and cooking lesson with lifestyle influencers and media such as Elle and Digital Spy to show them how to create the perfect Crown-inspired dinner.

 

And if this wasn't enough, we partnered with Scala Radio who interviewed The Crown composer Martin Phipps for Jack Pepper's 'Culture Bunker'.
