CASE STUDY: WONDERLAND

In one remarkable fifty-year period an unforgettable collection of classic children’s literature was created in Britain.    Premiering on Sky Arts, Odyssey Television’s four-part documentary series, WONDERLAND and a special Christmas show WONDERLAND: THE STORY OF CHRISTMAS, explored the lives of the authors who wrote those magical stories.

To promote this insightful series to an audience interested in quality arts documentaries we worked closely with THE TIMES to secure two double page features – one about children’s classics by author Kate Saunders, and the second piece about children’s Christmas stories which included interviews with director Adrian Munsey and former Children’s Laureate Michael Morpurgo.

For radio we orchestrated broadcast interviews for Adrian Munsey who spoke to Michael Portillo on TIMES RADIO, BBC RADIO LONDON, BBC RADIO SUSSEX and SURREY.

We supported the series throughout its run, liaising weekly with national press TV contacts to ensure reviews for every WONDERLAND episode in THE SUNDAY TIMES, THE TIMES, DAILY MAIL, MAIL ON SUNDAY, THE DAILY TELEGRAPH and DAILY EXPRESS.
